NovaShield Risk Partners is seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to lead our enterprise risk program within a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will drive risk assessment, governance, and mitigation strategies across functions, partnering with executives to safeguard the business.

Responsibility
- Develop and oversee the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, risk appetite, and tolerance levels aligned with business strategy.
- Identify, measure, and monitor top risks across functions; design and track key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards for executives.
- Coordinate risk assessments, risk control testing, and remediation plans across departments, ensuring timely execution and escalation where needed.
- Lead governance forums with senior leadership, risk owners, and compliance teams; report risk exposures to the board or risk committee.
- Assess regulatory changes and translate requirements into practical policies, procedures, and controls.
- Partner with incident response and business continuity teams to strengthen resilience and recovery planning.
- Evaluate third-party risk, vendor risk management, and operational risk within critical supply chains.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in risk management, ERM, or regulatory compliance within financial services or fintech.
- Proven expertise in risk modeling, quantitative analysis, scenario planning, and KRIs; experience with stress testing is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as FRM, CRM, CFA, or equivalents are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and concise stakeholder communications.
- Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills; capable of influencing across cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SOX, Basel III, FFIEC, and related guidance) and control environments; proficiency with risk management software and data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
