At ApexGuard Risk Solutions, we help global institutions anticipate and manage risk. We are seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead the enterprise risk program, strengthen risk governance, and drive a proactive risk culture across the organization.
As a member of the Risk & Compliance leadership team, you will partner with business units to identify, measure, and mitigate material risks, oversee risk appetite frameworks, and ensure regulatory alignment. This role offers a clear path to influence strategy and resilience in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of the enterprise risk management framework across the organization.
- Monitor risk appetite, metrics, and risk reporting to executives and the board.
- Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and control testing to validate risk posture.
- Oversee regulatory compliance programs, regulatory reporting, and internal audits coordination.
- Manage third-party and vendor risk, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
- Champion risk culture, deliver training, and facilitate governance forums.
- Develop and maintain risk policies, procedures, and controls with continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years in risk management with at least 3 years in a leadership or program-management role.
- Professional risk designation (FRM, PRM, CIA, CFA) or equivalent.
- Strong quantitative skills and experience with risk management systems; proficient in Excel, SQL, and Python or R.
- Knowledge of Basel III, IFRS 9, and applicable regulatory regimes (FCA/PRA or equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence senior stakeholders and present to the Board.
- Demonstrated ability to build risk culture, drive change, and work across cross-functional teams.
