Responsibility
- Develop and oversee the enterprise risk management framework aligned to Basel-like standards and ISO 31000.
- Lead risk assessments across entities, products, and processes, identifying key risk drivers and control gaps.
- Monitor and report risk indicators, capital adequacy, liquidity risk, and emerging threats to the Risk Committee.
- Design risk appetite metrics, thresholds, and scenario analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance, and Business Units to remediate issues and strengthen controls.
- Champion risk culture, provide training, and influence stakeholder decision-making at the executive level.
- Manage third-party risk and vendor risk programs, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
- Lead risk governance documentation, policy development, and issue tracking to ensure regulatory readiness.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or professional risk designation preferred (FRM, CFA).
- Minimum 7+ years in risk management within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks, Basel III, ISO 31000, and relevant regulatory environments.
- Experience with risk data aggregation, metrics, and governance tools; proficiency in SQL and data analytics is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage stakeholders, and communicate complex risk concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; strong written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional risk certifications and continuous improvement mindset are highly valued.
