ApexRisk Partners is a market-leading risk management firm helping global enterprises strengthen resilience through advanced ERM programs and data-driven governance. We are seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead our enterprise risk function and partner with C-suite stakeholders to translate strategy into action.
In this role, you will shape risk strategy, oversee risk assessments, and drive proactive risk mitigation across finance, technology, operations, and regulatory domains.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of the enterprise risk management program across the organization.
- Oversee risk assessments, control testing, and scenario analysis to identify top risks and mitigations.
- Partner with executives to translate risk insights into strategic decisions and governance dashboards.
- Develop and maintain risk appetite statements, policies, and risk reporting frameworks.
- Coordinate regulatory remediation efforts and ensure compliance with applicable standards (SOX, ISO 31000).
- Manage a team of risk professionals, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
- Advise on third-party risk management and vendor risk controls.
- Lead risk data analytics and build automated reporting using BI tools.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in risk management or internal controls, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platforms.
- Proven ability to translate risk insights into strategic recommendations for the C-suite.
- Experience with regulatory requirements and controls testing (SOX, Basel IV).
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization (Power BI or Tableau).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
