Join NexusGuard Risk Solutions as a Senior Risk Manager leading enterprise risk management initiatives for a global client base. This hybrid role based in New York offers exposure to board level risk discussions, cutting edge risk analytics, and a fast paced, collaborative culture.
As a Senior Risk Manager you will own the end to end risk program, oversee risk assessments, model scenarios, and ensure regulatory alignment across functions. You will partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into risk aware decisions.
We are seeking a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of ERM frameworks governance risk and compliance and data driven decision making. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of the enterprise risk management framework across the organization.
- Develop risk appetite statements policy controls and governance structures with senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate risk assessments scenario analysis and key risk indicators KRIs to monitor risk exposure.
- Advise on risk mitigation plans control testing and remediation milestones with cross functional teams.
- Oversee regulatory reporting incident management and business continuity planning.
- Collaborate with data science and IT to quantify risk using analytics and dashboards.
- Present risk insights to the executive committee and board level risk committees tailoring messaging for diverse audiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in finance economics data science or related field advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of risk management experience in financial services with exposure to ERM market risk credit risk or operational risk.
- Professional certifications such as FRM CFA CRM or equivalents.
- Strong knowledge of COSO framework Basel II III and risk governance concepts.
- Proficiency with risk management systems and data analytics tools SQL and data visualization skills are a plus.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management abilities proven leadership experience.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with cross functional teams and maintain regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
