NovaGuard Risk Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Manager to lead our enterprise risk program in Singapore. This role partners with executives to identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, and regulatory risks across the organization. The ideal candidate blends deep risk expertise with strong communication skills to influence risk-aware decision making.
As a member of the Risk Leadership Team, you will design and implement risk frameworks, oversee governance, and drive data-driven risk insights that enable sustainable business growth.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and oversight of the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, including risk appetite, tolerance, and governance structures.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report on strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and technology risks.
- Develop KRIs, risk dashboards, and executive risk reports for the board and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with business units to implement risk mitigation plans and track remediation progress.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with local and international standards (e.g., Basel II/III, GDPR, MAS guidelines as applicable).
- Drive risk-aware decision making through data analytics, scenario planning, and stress testing.
- Champion risk culture, provide training, and lead risk governance committees.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional risk certifications (FRM, PRM, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in enterprise risk management, regulatory risk, or internal controls within financial services or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk frameworks (ERM, COSO), governance, and risk reporting processes.
- Proven ability to translate complex risk data into actionable insights for executives and boards.
- Experience with risk analytics, KRIs, dashboards, and data visualization tools; proficiency in SQL or data tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Sound knowledge of local regulatory requirements in Singapore and international standards as applicable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, possess strong ethical standards, and maintain confidentiality.
