Responsibility
- Lead design, execution, and interpretation of experiments across cell biology and biochemistry to advance biologics programs.
- Develop and optimize assays (qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry) to generate robust, decision-grade data.
- Plan and coordinate project timelines with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to meet development milestones.
- Characterize and scale protein purification and analytical workflows for antibodies and biologics.
- Maintain rigorous data integrity and documentation following GLP/GMP standards and internal SOPs.
- Mentor and train junior scientists; contribute to hiring processes and performance feedback.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders; contribute to publications and IP discussions.
Qualification
- PhD in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or equivalent; or MS with 5+ years of industry experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on biotechnology R&D experience in therapeutics or biologics.
- Proven expertise in cell culture, genetic engineering (CRISPR), and assay development (qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry).
- Strong experimental design, statistical analysis, and data visualization skills (Python, R, GraphPad).
- Experience with protein purification/characterization (HPLC, SDS-PAGE) and analytical methods.
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP environments, documentation, and quality systems.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring abilities; fluent in English.
- Proactive problem-solver capable of thriving in a fast-paced biotech setting.
