As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain production-grade services, mentor teammates, and drive best practices across the team.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend and frontend features with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business goals into robust software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers; contribute to code reviews, architecture decisions, and design patterns.
- Own end-to-end delivery of features, including testing, observability, and deployment pipelines.
- Improve system architecture for scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Lead efforts on performance optimization and data modeling.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, documentation, and best-practice engineering.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in modern web stacks (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with software design principles, testing strategies, and performance tuning.
