Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Seattle-based product team. You will contribute to building scalable, customer-centric web applications with modern architectures and best practices.
As a key member of the development team, you will collaborate with product, design, and operations to deliver high-quality features on a fast-paced roadmap. You will have opportunities to work on cloud native services, microservices, and data driven applications.
This role offers hands on coding, system design, and opportunities to mentor junior developers while owning features from conception to deployment.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain scalable front end and back end components using React TypeScript and Node.js
- Design robust RESTful APIs and data models to support product features
- Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code
- Implement unit, integration, and end to end tests to ensure software quality
- Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and performance optimizations
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems hosted in cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the team
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React or similar front end frameworks and Node.js on the backend
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and containerization with Docker
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, testing, and CI/CD
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
