Northstar Tech Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud & AI to join our Seattle tech hub. You will design and build scalable cloud-native services, mentor engineers, and influence product direction.

Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native services using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Drive engineering best practices with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Architect and review code for performance, reliability, and security.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Partner with product and design teams to translate business needs into robust software.
- Own incident response and post mortems to continuously improve operations.
- Contribute to roadmaps and technical strategy across platforms.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development with cloud based architectures
- Proficiency in at least one main language (Python, Java, or Go)
- Strong experience with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across teams
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
