NovaTech Solutions is a leading innovator in cloud-native software. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team in Austin. You will design and deliver scalable services, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.

Responsibility
- Architect, design, and implement scalable cloud services and APIs.
- Own end-to-end development from backend to frontend integrations.
- Drive performance, reliability, and security improvements in cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA to deliver high-quality software.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation for faster delivery.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Lead technical initiatives and document architecture decisions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-native environments.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and at least one backend language (e.g., Java, Go, Python).
- Strong experience with AWS or Azure, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, Git workflows, and test automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, Agile environment.
