Join our team at Synchrony as a Senior Specialist in Finance Controllership - Cash Accounting! In this role, you will be a key member of the Controllership organization within Finance COE, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities related to cash accounting and financial controls.
Responsibility
- Monitor and reconcile cash transactions
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare cash flow statements and forecasts
- Analyze financial data and provide insights
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
