Join our premier sports coaching program in the heart of Austin, Texas. We partner with youth and adult athletes to elevate performance through evidence-based coaching, mentorship, and high-energy training environments.
As a Senior Sports Coach, you will design compelling curricula, lead dynamic practice sessions, and champion athlete development from onboarding to competition. This is a full-time role offering growth, leadership opportunities, and a strong emphasis on safety and athletic integrity.
Responsibility
- Design and implement sport-specific training programs that drive performance and retention across cohorts.
- Lead engaging practice sessions, teach technical skills, and demonstrate progressive training progressions.
- Assess athletes through performance testing, tracking progress, and providing actionable feedback.
- Develop individualized development plans and mentorship to accelerate gains and confidence.
- Collaborate with team coaches, parents, and program directors to align goals and schedules.
- Monitor safety, enforce sport-specific guidelines, and maintain equipment and facilities in top condition.
- Plan and coordinate clinics, workshops, and competition preparation for diverse athlete groups.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field, or equivalent coaching certifications (USSF C License, USATF Level, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years coaching experience with youth and/or adult athletes in competitive environments.
- Strong communication and motivational skills with a data-driven coaching approach.
- Proficiency in sport-specific technique, tactics, and performance analysis.
- First Aid/CPR certification and adherence to safety protocols; background check completed.
- Ability to lead with integrity, build trust, and foster inclusive, performance-focused culture.
- Flexibility to travel for events and occasional weekends as needed.
