We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sports Coach to lead training programs, mentor coaches, and elevate our athletes' performance. As a member of our coaching team, you’ll help athletes reach peak potential through evidence-based training, individualized programming, and a focus on injury prevention and long-term athletic development.
Responsibility
- Design and implement periodized training programs for athletes across multiple sports and age groups.
- Lead coach education sessions and mentor junior coaches to maintain high coaching standards.
- Monitor athlete progress using objective measures, adjust plans, and communicate results to athletes and families.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive training environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and leadership development.
- Collaborate with sports science staff on injury prevention, recovery protocols, and performance analytics.
- Plan and run performance testing sessions, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable coaching decisions.
- Coordinate with event organizers for camps, clinics, and competitive opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with safety policies, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Coaching, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Active coaching certification (e.g., USSF, USOP, NATA, or relevant sport-specific certs).
- 5+ years of coaching experience with demonstrated athlete development outcomes.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective training programs and track progress.
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills; ability to engage diverse athletes and families.
- Knowledge of injury prevention, movement screening, and basic sports science concepts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for camps and competitions.
