We are seeking a versatile Senior Sports Coach to lead coaching sessions across multiple disciplines, mentor junior coaches, and partner with schools and communities to maximize performance and character.
As a Senior Sports Coach you will:
- Design and implement age appropriate training programs for youth and development squads
- Lead technical coaching sessions for football, basketball and general athletic development
- Assess athlete progress using objective metrics and adjust plans accordingly
- Mentor assistant coaches and deliver constructive feedback
- Coordinate with school partners to align training with academic and sports calendars
- Ensure safety protocols, injury prevention and best practice conditioning
- Foster a positive culture focused on discipline, teamwork and resilience

Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily coaching sessions across multiple sports for diverse age groups
- Develop periodized training plans that align with competition calendars
- Monitor athlete progress using objective metrics and adapt programming
- Provide timely feedback and mentoring to junior coaches and interns
- Collaborate with schools, clubs and parents to ensure cohesive development
- Ensure safety, injury prevention, proper warm ups and risk assessment
- Plan and run talent identification, camps and clinics
- Promote sportsmanship, character development and a growth mindset
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Sports Coaching or related field
- Certification in coaching and first aid such as NSCA CSCS or equivalent
- 3+ years coaching experience with youth and development athletes
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs
- Strong communication, leadership and mentorship skills
- Experience working with diverse communities and safeguarding practices
- Availability to work evenings and weekend sessions
- Knowledge of sport science, conditioning and injury prevention
