PulseOne Sports Analytics is seeking a dynamic Senior Sports Data Analyst to join our growing team in New York. You will partner with coaches, performance staff, and executives to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve player performance and team outcomes.

Responsibility
- Develop and maintain data models and performance dashboards to monitor player and team metrics.
- Collaborate with coaches, strength & conditioning, medical staff, and analysts to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and run rigorous statistical analyses to answer business and performance questions.
- Lead the development of predictive models for injury risk, player development, and game strategy.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reproducibility across analytics projects.
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Sports Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in sports analytics or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of advanced sports metrics, tracking data, and experimental design.
- Experience with data governance, data pipelines, and reproducible research practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects.
- Authorized to work in the United States; willingness to relocate to New York if necessary.
