NovaTech Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our growing team in Austin. You will bridge business needs and technical execution, shaping system requirements and guiding delivery from discovery through deployment.
In this role, you will collaborate with product, architecture, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with strategic goals and compliance standards. You will leverage data, process mapping, and stakeholder insights to translate business problems into technical specifications that drive measurable outcomes.

Responsibility
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders and document clear functional specifications.
- Analyze business processes and propose optimized workflows using BPMN/UML.
- Translate user needs into detailed system requirements, use cases, data models, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across SDLC.
- Support data migrations, data quality, and reporting requirements.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and create mitigation plans; contribute to project plans.
- Drive stakeholder communication and change management through training and documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of systems analysis or business analysis experience on technology projects.
- Strong proficiency with process modeling (BPMN), UML, and data modeling.
- Experience with SQL and data analysis; ability to write queries and interpret data.
- Excellent requirements gathering, documentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall); ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record delivering system improvements that drive business outcomes.
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is a plus.
