Join Apex Systems Analytics as a Systems Analyst in New York City. We are seeking a results-driven professional to bridge business needs and technical solutions. In this role, you will partner with product owners, engineers, and QA to deliver scalable, data-driven systems that empower decision makers.
As a key member of the strategy and delivery team, you will translate business problems into clear requirements, assess impacts across processes, data, and technology, and influence product direction with actionable insights.

Responsibility
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements.
- Analyze current systems and business processes; identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into clear, testable functional specifications and data models.
- Model processes using BPMN and other standards; maintain traceability from requirements to delivery.
- Work with developers, QA, and data engineers to ensure accurate implementation and validation.
- Support user acceptance testing and define acceptance criteria and success metrics.
- Contribute to data governance, risk analysis, and regulatory/compliance efforts as needed.
- Develop dashboards and reporting requirements to enable data-driven decisions across the organization.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of systems analysis or business analysis experience in technology-enabled environments.
- Strong requirements elicitation, process modeling, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience with ERP or CRM implementations and integration patterns.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with BPMN, UML, and creating clear technical specifications from business needs.
- Preferred: professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent; knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
