Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Systems Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to collect requirements, model processes, and translate them into actionable specifications that guide development and implementation.
This is a hands-on role that combines business analysis, data modeling, and system thinking to improve efficiency and deliver measurable value.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements for systems, applications, and data flows.
- Analyze current-state processes and design optimized workflows with clear acceptance criteria.
- Create use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and data models to support development and QA.
- Partner with IT and product teams to translate requirements into actionable technical tasks and project timelines.
- Support system design reviews, risk assessments, and impact analyses for change initiatives.
- Develop and maintain traceability matrices and dashboards to measure project success.
- Assist with testing strategies, user acceptance testing, and training materials for end users.
- Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations post-implementation to maximize business value.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of systems analysis or business analysis experience in a technology environment
- Strong knowledge of process modeling, data flows, and requirements engineering
- Experience with BPMN, UML, or similar modeling standards
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis; familiarity with data visualization tools
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are a plus
