As a Systems Analyst, you will partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify needs, analyze current systems, and translate requirements into actionable specs for developers and QA. You will help shape the architecture of enterprise applications and ensure alignment with business objectives.
What you will do includes collaborating across functions, modeling business processes, defining data requirements, and supporting UAT and release cycles. You will produce clear documentation, influence product roadmaps, and advocate for best practices in requirements management and system design.
Responsibility
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather, validate, and prioritize needs.
- Analyze, document, and transform business requirements into clear functional specifications, process models, and data requirements.
- Model business processes using BPMN and create use case scenarios and data flows.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet technical constraints and business goals.
- Perform gap analyses and propose solutions to optimize processes and reduce risk.
- Support system design and architectural discussions; contribute to solution roadmaps.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in validating test results.
- Develop and maintain high quality documentation, including requirements, specs, data dictionaries, and traceability matrices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related field
- 3-5+ years of systems analysis or business analysis experience in enterprise environments
- Proficiency with requirements management, BPMN, UML, data modeling, and ER diagrams
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems and integration projects
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with agile / scrum methodologies; ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA is a plus
