Job description
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Systems Analyst to join our dynamic IT Solutions team in San Francisco. You will translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and drive system improvements across platforms and data ecosystems.
As a trusted advisor to product, engineering, and operations, you will map processes, design future-state architectures, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact initiatives.
Responsibility
- Gather and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders with clarity and precision
- Analyze and model current-state processes and data flows using BPMN/UML
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and data teams to define scope, acceptance criteria, and priorities
- Translate requirements into well-structured user stories, specifications, and test cases
- Conduct root-cause analysis and advocate data-driven decision making
- Ensure traceability, risk assessment, and compliance considerations are integrated into design
- Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing with stakeholders
- Provide guidance on best practices for system optimization and change management
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years as a systems analyst, business analyst, or equivalent
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with UML/BPMN, data modeling, SQL, and data analysis
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools such as Jira
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, and operations
- Experience with ERP/CRM or enterprise systems is a plus
