Job description
NextGen Tech Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our data-driven product teams in Austin. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into clear requirements and implement scalable solutions across platforms.
In this role you will work across the full SDLC to ensure alignment between business goals and technical delivery, while maintaining documentation and governance across projects. You will influence product strategy and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes that drive measurable business value.
Responsibility
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and translate findings into clear, actionable specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed system specifications, use cases, user stories, data models, and process flows.
- Create and refine UML and BPMN diagrams to communicate system design and workflow.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery and quality outcomes.
- Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and propose scalable technical solutions with measurable impact.
- Maintain traceability matrices, manage change control, and assess risk throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support system testing, user acceptance (UAT), and post-implementation reviews to validate value.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; master's preferred.
- 3-5 years of systems analysis or business analysis experience in technology-enabled environments.
- Strong proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling (UML, BPMN), and data flow analysis.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like Jira/Confluence; solid documentation discipline.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaborative problem-solving skills; ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Nice-to-have: CBAP/CCBA or similar certification; experience with ERP or CRM integrations.
