As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax reporting, proactive planning, and robust compliance across federal, state, and local tax regimes. Responsibility

  • Lead the preparation and review of federal and state corporate income tax returns and extensions for mid-to-large clients.
  • Manage the U.S. tax provision process (ASC 740), including analysis, documentation, and audits.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize cash tax and minimize risk across business units.
  • Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and analytics in collaboration with global tax teams.
  • Support tax audits, controversy matters, and response to tax authorities with well-supported positions.
  • Monitor evolving tax laws and provide timely guidance on impact to clients and firm operations.
  • Mentor and train junior tax staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with finance, legal, and business leaders to drive strategic tax initiatives and process improvements.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA designation preferred.
  • 5+ years of corporate tax experience in the United States, with exposure to federal, state, and local taxes.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US tax rules, including ASC 740, NOLs, credits, and repatriation considerations.
  • Experience with tax provisions and tax return software; proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-specialists.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with transfer pricing and international tax considerations is a plus.
