We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our NYC-based finance team. This role focuses on corporate and international taxation, planning, and optimization for a fast-growing organization. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure tax compliance, minimize risk, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a data-driven environment and has a proven track record in tax provision and transfer pricing.
Responsibility
- Lead tax compliance for corporate and international operations, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of filings across jurisdictions.
- Prepare and review federal, state, local, and international income tax returns and related schedules.
- Drive tax planning, risk assessment, and support for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation, policies, and benchmarking analyses in line with OECD and local requirements.
- Coordinate with tax authorities and auditors; respond to inquiries and defend positions with supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize tax provisioning and effective tax rate management (ASC 740).
- Monitor and implement changes in tax legislation affecting the business, including international tax developments.
- Utilize tax software and data analytics to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance monitoring.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax; CPA or CTC designation preferred.
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience, with strong US and international tax knowledge; Big Four experience preferred.
- Proficiency in federal, state, local, and international tax laws and regimes; transfer pricing expertise a plus.
- Experience with tax provision (ASC 740), tax planning, and tax return preparation using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and tax software.
- Advanced Excel skills and data analytics for tax planning and compliance.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tax landscapes.
