GlobalTax Partners is seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Analyst to join our New York City team. You will navigate complex U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations, support corporate tax planning initiatives, and ensure timely compliance for a diversified client base. Responsibility

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations and individuals as applicable.
  • Conduct in-depth tax research to interpret evolving tax laws and provide actionable guidance.
  • Support year-end tax provision (ASC 740), ETR calculations, and related financial reporting processes.
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation, risk assessments, and planning analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Compliance) to implement tax-efficient strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation while ensuring strict compliance and audit readiness.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring timely delivery of work products.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred or active Enrolled Agent status.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax.
  • Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws, including provision and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with tax provisioning (ASC 740) and statutory tax accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., ProConnect, Thomson Reuters OneSource, SAP Tax).
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
