Responsibility

  • Manage US federal, state, and local tax compliance for multiple entities, ensuring timely filings and accurate payments.
  • Prepare and review corporate tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and related financial reporting requirements.
  • Lead tax planning initiatives including transfer pricing, international tax planning, and mitigation of global effective tax rate.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to support audits and financial reporting processes.
  • Monitor changes in tax law and assess impact on business operations; implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Support capital transactions, restructurings, and M&A activities from a tax perspective, including transaction structuring and due diligence.
  • Enhance data governance and implement process improvements using tax technology and data analytics.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent; Tax LL.M preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive corporate tax experience with exposure to ASC 740 and tax provision processes.
  • Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local taxes, as well as international tax concepts and transfer pricing.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to non tax stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tax software and data tools (e.g., Vertex, SAP, Oracle, OneSource) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with tax audits, external auditor coordination, and financial reporting support.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast paced environment.
