Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex tax engagements for corporate clients, including US federal and state taxes and international considerations.
- Prepare and review corporate income tax returns, ASC 740 compliance, and state/local tax filings.
- Develop and document transfer pricing studies, supporting audits and APA processes as needed.
- Advise on tax-efficient structuring, M&A transactions, repatriation planning, and cross-border planning.
- Perform tax risk assessments, implement process improvements, and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff; manage project timelines and client communications.
- Support business development initiatives, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and external auditors to ensure cohesive and compliant tax strategies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, MST, or Enrolled Agent preferred.
- 5+ years of corporate tax or tax advisory experience; Big Four background highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax regimes, with international tax exposure preferred.
- Proficiency in ASC 740 and transfer pricing concepts; experience with tax technology and data analytics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills; advanced Excel and tax software proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to clearly convey complex ideas to clients and teams.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to manage multiple engagements with minimal supervision.
- Authorized to work in the United States; willingness to travel as needed.
