Responsibility

  • Lead and manage tax planning and compliance engagements for corporate clients, including US federal, state, and international considerations.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, provisions, and disclosures in coordination with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Advise on transfer pricing, documentation, and TP risk management; support audits and controversy resolution.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize after-tax profitability, cash flow, and valuation implications.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations on M&A, restructurings, and cross-border transactions.
  • Mentor junior consultants, supervise work streams, and ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and guidance; translate implications into actionable client recommendations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent credential preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive tax advisory experience in professional services or corporate tax environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of US federal, state, and international tax regimes, including transfer pricing and controversy support.
  • Strong analytical research skills; proficiency with tax software, data analysis tools, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to manage client relationships and expectations.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and lead teams in a dynamic environment; results-driven mindset.
  • Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions and tax technology platforms is a plus.
