As a Senior Tax Consultant you will partner with clients to optimize cash tax, manage risk, and navigate complex BEPS and transfer pricing issues, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development. Responsibility
- Lead corporate and international tax engagements for mid-market to large multinational clients, delivering practical, compliant solutions.
- Prepare and review corporate income tax returns, tax provisions, and country by country reporting where applicable.
- Provide strategic tax planning for cross border transactions, restructurings, and M&A activities.
- Advise on transfer pricing policies, documentation, and BEPS compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage tax risk assessments, audits, and communication with tax authorities; respond to notices and inquiries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver broader advisory services and support business development efforts.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and client service.
Qualification
- Substantial experience in corporate tax and international tax in Singapore, with 6+ years in a reputable firm or in-house.
- Professional qualification such as CA/CPA or equivalent; advanced degrees welcomed.
- Deep knowledge of Singapore tax laws including corporate income tax, withholding tax, GST, and international tax concepts BEPS, TP documentation.
- Proven track record in TP planning, transfer pricing documentation, and TP audits with multinationals.
- Strong project management, client service, and communication skills; ability to lead engagements and mentor juniors.
- Proficiency with tax software, ERP systems, Excel and data analysis tools; ability to leverage tech for tax data management.
- Fluent in English; other language skills a plus; must be eligible to work in Singapore.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA or Masters preferred.
