Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex corporate and international tax engagements, including planning, compliance, and reporting.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize risk and optimize cash flow for clients across multiple industries.
- Research and document tax positions, prepare technical memos, and defend positions during audits or inquiries.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, transfer pricing, and IT) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff; cultivate a high-performance advisory culture.
- Engage with clients to understand business goals, present findings, and secure buy-in for recommendations.
- Ensure timely delivery of tax returns, filings, and disclosures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Stay current on tax law changes, regulatory developments, and industry trends; contribute to thought leadership.
Qualification
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Law; CPA/CTA/ACCA or equivalent credential preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive tax consulting experience in corporate or international tax, with exposure to transfer pricing and TP documentation.
- Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax laws; international tax concepts (OECD, BEPS) a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines, and communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
- Solid experience with tax technology and data analytics; proficiency in ONESOURCE, Corptax, SAP, Oracle or similar systems is a plus; advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills; fluent in English; other languages a plus.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, business acumen, and ethical commitment to client confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs (approx. 10-25%).
