Job description
NovaForge Labs is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our growing product team in Seattle. You will craft intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling experiences across web and mobile platforms. Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to translate complex problems into elegant design solutions that drive adoption and business impact.
This role offers the chance to shape our design language, contribute to a modern design system, and mentor younger designers in a fast-paced, user-focused environment.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for core product areas from discovery to delivery.
- Partner with product, research, and engineering teams to define user flows, IA, and navigation.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals across web and mobile.
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems, components, and tokens in Figma.
- Conduct usability testing, synthesize findings, and advocate for user-centered decisions.
- Mentor junior designers, review work, and promote accessibility and inclusive design.
- Present design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
Qualification
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience in SaaS or technology products.
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design and system thinking across web and mobile.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design tools such as Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Experience with design systems, tokens, and responsive/mobile-first design.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability principles.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
