Responsibility

  • Design and deliver sport-specific training programs for youth and adult athletes, aligning with seasonal goals.
  • Lead weekly practices and coordinate with the Head Coach to execute the season-long plan.
  • Assess athlete performance, track progress, and adjust training plans to optimize results.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating training environment; enforce safety protocols at all times.
  • Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and strategies to foster a growth mindset.
  • Plan conditioning, drills, technical development, and competition preparation tailored to each athlete’s needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, school partners, and community organizations to maximize engagement and retention.
  • Contribute to program development and talent recruitment efforts through outreach and events.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Coaching, or related field; or demonstrated coaching experience.
  • Valid coaching certification (e.g., USA Coaching certification or equivalent) and CPR/First Aid.
  • Minimum 2+ years of coaching experience with youth or amateur athletes.
  • Proven ability to design training programs and monitor athlete progress.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentorship.
  • Knowledge of injury prevention, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
