Summit Athletics Group is seeking a dynamic Sports Coach in Austin, TX to lead engaging programs for youth and adults. The ideal candidate blends technical knowledge with motivational leadership to inspire athletes of all levels.
In this role, you will design progressive training plans, deliver impactful coaching sessions, monitor athlete progress, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with program directors to grow our offerings.

Responsibility
- Lead sport-specific coaching sessions and plan structured training programs.
- Assess athlete skill levels, set measurable goals, and track progress.
- Create safe training environments, enforce safety protocols, and respond to injuries.
- Deliver constructive feedback to athletes and parents, with transparent communication.
- Collaborate with program directors to develop new clinics, camps, and leagues.
- Demonstrate play and technique with enthusiasm, adaptability, and inclusivity.
- Maintain accurate attendance, performance data, and equipment management.
- Promote sport participation and foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in sports science, kinesiology, physical education, or related field preferred.
- Coaching certification relevant to the sport (e.g., US Soccer, USA Basketball, national federation) or equivalent experience.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- 2+ years of coaching experience with youth or adults; demonstrated ability to develop fundamentals and advanced skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and manage diverse groups.
- Ability to design age-appropriate, progressive training plans and monitor athlete progress.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends; willingness to travel for events as needed.
