Join Pacific Crest Sports Institute, a leading sports science and performance organization based in Los Angeles. We are seeking a data-driven Sports Performance Analyst to optimize athlete outcomes through advanced analytics, monitoring, and evidence-based training recommendations.
As a pivotal member of our performance team, you will partner with coaches, medical staff, and athletes to translate data into actionable insights that boost on-field performance and reduce injury risk. This role blends data science with practical coaching support, requiring strong collaboration, communication, and a passion for elite sport.

Responsibility
- collect, organize, and harmonize athlete performance and biometric data from multiple sources.
- develop and implement analytics dashboards and KPI trackers to monitor progress over time.
- conduct advanced analyses to identify performance drivers and injury risk factors.
- translate complex findings into clear recommendations for coaches and medical staff.
- partner with strength and conditioning staff to design data-driven training plans.
- pilot and evaluate new measurement technologies and sensors.
- present insights to leadership and contribute to strategic performance initiatives.
- maintain data quality, governance, and privacy in compliance with policy.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Data Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years in sports analytics, performance analysis, or sports science roles, preferably in elite or professional settings.
- Strong proficiency with SQL; Python or R for data analysis; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with wearable data, GPS tracking, and biomechanical metrics is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate data into actionable coaching guidance.
- Knowledge of injury prevention, rehabilitation concepts, and return-to-play protocols.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
