Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize dietetics and catering services for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring nutritional adequacy and therapeutic diets.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop menus aligned with dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Lead procurement, inventory management, vendor relations, and cost control for hospital kitchens.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and MOH guidelines.
- Monitor quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and service delivery; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage, mentor, and schedule a team including dietitians, cooks, and catering staff; conduct performance reviews.
- Develop and implement nutrition policies, SOPs, and training programs for staff.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field; registered dietitian certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical dietetics or hospital catering experience; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition care plans, and menu planning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills with clinical teams and hospital leadership.
- Experience with food safety, HACCP, sanitation standards, and MOH Singapore guidelines.
- Budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and cost optimization capabilities.
- Proficiency in using dietetics software and data-driven performance metrics to drive quality care.
