PT Indo Bahagia Sejahtera is seeking a proactive Staff Accounting to join our Jakarta team. Based in Jakarta Utara, this role blends hands on bookkeeping with the broader responsibilities of financial reporting. In this role you will maintain ledgers, process supplier invoices and customer payments, and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts. You will participate in month end closings, prepare supporting schedules, and assist in the preparation of financial statements for internal management and external stakeholders. You will also help monitor cash flow, manage petty cash, and support internal audits and control processes to ensure compliance with company policy and local regulations. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while communicating clearly with teammates across departments.

Responsibility
- Maintain daily bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with timely payments and reconciliation
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
- Assist in monthly and quarterly closings and prepare supporting schedules
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Assist internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Maintain petty cash float and monitor expense claims
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve processes and data quality
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred; fresh graduates considered
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Proficient in Excel and basic accounting software; ability to learn new systems quickly
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication in Indonesian; English is a plus
