Indonesia Bakery Family is seeking a meticulous and proactive Staff Finance to join our growing team in Jember, East Java. This role is ideal for someone who combines solid accounting fundamentals with a hands-on approach to financial operations in a bakery environment. The successful candidate will ensure accurate daily bookkeeping, timely reporting, and rigorous data integrity using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
As a key member of the finance team, you will collaborate with operations, procurement, and management to monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and support month-end close. You will help implement efficient processes, maintain proper documentation, and uphold compliance with local regulations. Requirements include strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis), basic understanding of Indonesian accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Responsibilities and duties will include maintaining the general ledger, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, coordinating with suppliers for timely payments, and assisting with budgeting and variance analysis. The role also involves tax-related tasks and ensuring internal controls are followed to protect assets and ensure accuracy of reporting. You will document processes, generate monthly financial statements, and present insights to management to support informed decision making.

Responsibility
- Maintain daily bookkeeping records including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable; ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support monthly close and financial reporting; prepare statements and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Maintain internal controls, assist with audits, and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely invoicing and payment processing; assist with tax filings as required.
- Maintain accurate records and data integrity in accounting software and MS Excel.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance; bakery/retail experience is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Indonesian accounting principles and basic taxation.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a small team; strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication in Indonesian; basic English; willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software or ERP is a plus.
