Responsibility
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients across units as required.
- Assist physicians with procedures, monitor patient status, administer medications as prescribed, and document care accurately.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, contribute to care plans, and update nursing records and progress notes.
- Collaborate with doctors, therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to implement evidence-based care and discharge planning.
- Maintain infection control practices, medication safety, and patient safety standards at all times.
- Participate in shift handovers, ongoing competency training, and NHG-wide education programs.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge self-care.
Qualification
- Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing; valid Singapore Nursing Board registration or eligible for registration.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; strong academic record and a positive, patient-centered mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records; detail-oriented with good documentation habits.
