Remote Staff is actively seeking a dedicated Surveying CAD Draftsperson to join our remote-friendly team in the Philippines. This part-time position focuses on producing precise surveying CAD drawings that support field data and civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with licensed surveyors and engineers to translate field measurements into accurate plans, profiles, and cross-sections using industry-standard software.
In this role, you will manage CAD drawing tasks, ensure data integrity, and contribute to comprehensive documentation packages for project teams. Responsibility
- Prepare and update detailed CAD drawings for surveying projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Convert field survey data into precise plan, profile, and cross-section drawings.
- Collaborate with the surveying team to verify data accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Create as-built drawings, final plans, and documentation packages.
- Maintain version control, file naming conventions, and organized project libraries.
- Review surveys for consistency with design specifications and flag discrepancies.
- Prepare coordinates, quantities, and georeferencing details as required.
- Assist with project deliverables and client communications as needed.
Qualification
- A degree or technical diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; familiarity with other CAD tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, mapping, and coordinate systems.
- Experience producing civil/drafting drawings, plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal English communication; comfortable working with remote teams.
- Familiarity with local Philippines codes and standards is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and organize files effectively.
