We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Analyst to join our growing technology team in Austin, TX. You will bridge business needs with IT capabilities, lead requirements gathering, and translate business processes into actionable specifications. Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions that align with strategic goals. This role offers opportunities to influence system design, data flows, and process improvements across multiple domains.
Responsibility
- Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements and success criteria.
- Analyze current systems and workflows; identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, data models, and process flows.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA to ensure alignment with SDLC and Agile practices.
- Create and maintain traceability matrices, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support system testing, UAT, and rollout activities; assist with change management and training.
- Participate in data quality initiatives, reporting, and KPI monitoring.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of systems analysis, business analysis, or equivalent in a technology environment.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling, and data mapping.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies; ability to facilitate workshops.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with UML, ER diagrams, and MS Visio or similar modeling tools.
