BluePeak Systems is seeking a meticulous Systems Analyst to join our Austin, Texas team. This role partners with product, engineering, and operations to translate business needs into clear, scalable system requirements.
As a Systems Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.
In this role you will drive requirements gathering, process modeling, and data flow analysis to inform design decisions, support system optimization, and enable data-driven outcomes across the organization.

Responsibility
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders across multiple domains.
- Develop and maintain process models, data flows, and use case scenarios to guide solution design.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and QA to translate requirements into actionable specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate proposed changes for feasibility, cost, and risk; prioritize improvements based on business impact.
- Create test plans, participate in user acceptance testing, and ensure traceability from requirements to delivered features.
- Assist in vendor and tool evaluations, including ERP/CRM integrations and data migration activities.
- Support data governance and quality initiatives by defining metrics and validation rules.
- Provide ongoing stakeholder communication and status updates to ensure alignment and transparency.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field; 3+ years of systems analysis or business analysis experience.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Strong proficiency with process modeling and diagramming (BPMN, UML) and with SQL for basic data querying.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and requirements management tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ERP or CRM integration projects and data migration efforts is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metrics definition; familiarity with modeling standards.
- Preferred certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
