Join Straive, a leading information technology company, as a Systems Architect and Deal Desk Lead in Taguig City, Metro Manila. You will shape the technical strategy behind deal structuring, ensure scalable architectures, and partner with sales, product, and legal teams to accelerate revenue while maintaining governance and security.
As the Deal Desk Lead, you will own the end-to-end architecture for complex customer engagements, define reference architectures, and drive cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders to translate business requirements into robust software designs, secure integrations, and compliant data flows. Your initiatives will influence pricing, contract modeling, and risk assessment across all deals.

You will own security and compliance considerations, including data privacy and regulatory alignment, while optimizing performance and cost. You will mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and maintain up-to-date documentation and reference architectures. You will influence product roadmaps by capturing architectural concerns in customer feedback and sales cycles. You will lead vendor evaluations and ensure third-party integrations meet our standards. You will advocate for modernization and best practices in software engineering and cloud deployments.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and governance of the deal desk architecture to enable fast, accurate deal crafting and approvals.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Product, and Finance to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define and maintain reference architectures, integration patterns, and API standards for CRM, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure security, compliance, data privacy, and risk assessment are embedded in every deal and deployment.
- Drive architecture reviews, capacity planning, and performance optimization for customer engagements.
- Mentor and lead cross-functional engineering teams; communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing to accelerate deal velocity.
- Influence product roadmaps and vendor selections by providing architectural insights from deals and customer feedback.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of IT or software architecture experience, with a track record in enterprise-scale solutions.
- Proven experience in deal desk, revenue operations, or sales engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, and API-driven design.
- Hands-on experience with data integration, API management, and CRM/ERP platforms (for example Salesforce, SAP).
- Solid understanding of security, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; proven leadership experience.
- Ability to translate business strategy into actionable technical roadmaps and architectures.
