Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Taxation Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team in New York City. You will support corporate tax compliance, planning, and reporting for domestic and international entities, ensuring adherence to US GAAP/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements. This role offers significant exposure to complex tax structures, transfer pricing, and strategic tax planning with ample opportunities for professional growth.

As a member of our tax group, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage technology to optimize processes, and contribute to building a proactive tax function that minimizes risk while maximizing value for the business.

Responsibility

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and extensions for multiple entities.
  • Manage quarterly estimated tax calculations and timely tax payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with tax provision processes under US GAAP, including deferred tax assets and liabilities.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation, master-file and local-file preparation, and controversy management as needed.
  • Conduct tax research and scenario analysis to advise on business initiatives and new markets.
  • Collaborate with accounting, legal, and finance teams to implement process improvements and control activities.
  • Monitor changing tax laws and regulatory developments, communicating impacts to stakeholders.
  • Assist with tax audits and resolve issues with tax authorities in a professional manner.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA, EA, or J.D. is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a multinational or public accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax laws, with exposure to international taxation and transfer pricing.
  • Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Onesource) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting process improvements.
  • High ethical standards and a proactive approach to compliance and risk management.
