Technical Architect (Mid to Senior) at Seven Seven Global Services, Inc. is a pivotal role designed for a seasoned professional who can design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data and integration architectures. This position is based in Makati City, Philippines, and collaborates across product, data, and software engineering teams to turn business requirements into robust technical solutions.
As a Technical Architect, you will define the data and integration strategy, establish governance standards, and drive architectural decisions that enable reliable data flows, real-time insights, and secure API ecosystems. You will own the end-to-end architecture lifecycle—from concept and design to implementation, testing, and optimization—ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
Key focus areas include data modeling, data warehousing, API design, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native data pipelines. You will mentor engineers, lead architecture reviews, and partner with security, privacy, and operations teams to enforce best practices in SDLC, monitoring, and incident response. You will evaluate new technologies, manage vendor relationships where necessary, and craft migration strategies with a clear cost-to-value roadmap.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable data and integration architectures that support business goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, software developers, and security teams to gather requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints.
- Establish architecture standards, patterns, and governance for data modeling, data quality, security, privacy, and compliance.
- Design and oversee data pipelines, APIs, event streams, and integration layers (ETL/ELT, messaging) to ensure reliability and performance.
- Mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and drive best practices across SDLC, CI/CD, and incident response.
- Evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions; drive PoCs; define migration strategies with cost-to-value analysis.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software architecture, data architecture, or a similar role; strong track record delivering enterprise-grade architectures.
- Deep expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, data governance, and data security; experience with data quality frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data tooling; strong understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages (Java, Python, or Scala); familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level.
