Join Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), a leading public healthcare institution in Singapore, as a Temporary Pharmacy Assistant. Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, labeling and packaging for inpatient and outpatient settings under supervision.
- Prepare and check medications and prescription orders under supervision for accuracy and safety.
- Monitor and manage inventory, including stock checks, expiries, reordering, and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace, adhering to SOPs and safety regulations.
- Enter patient and medication data into pharmacy systems, verify details, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide basic patient and customer service, answering questions and offering general medication information under supervision.
- Support medication reconciliation, unit-dose packaging, and labeling processes to ensure safe patient care.
Qualification
- Minimum secondary education; relevant certificate/diploma in Pharmacy Services or healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in hospital, community, or retail pharmacy is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team and with diverse patients.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to commit to a temporary assignment through September 2026; flexible to work shifts and weekends as needed.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore (local employment status).
