Responsibility
- Assist therapists in planning and delivering patient rehabilitation sessions across physiotherapy and occupational therapy disciplines.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and materials for therapy sessions, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Guide and assist patients with prescribed exercises, transfers, and activities under supervision.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy, document progress, and report changes to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting in patient records, while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, appointment coordination, and equipment maintenance.
- Promote infection control, safety protocols, and adherence to clinical policies in all therapy activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care and smooth clinic operations.
Qualification
- Diploma or certificate in therapy support, rehabilitation assistance, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and family members.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, exercises, and rehabilitation principles helpful but not required; training provided.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends; access to on-call coverage if applicable in Singapore.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and privacy compliance (PDPA).
- Proactive team player with a positive attitude and strong reliability.
- Proficiency in English; additional local languages are a plus.
