In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage at all stages of the development lifecycle. You will help implement data-driven test strategies, manage test environments, and contribute to performance and security testing where applicable. You will also stay current with Tosca features and QA tooling to continuously improve automation capabilities.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain Tosca-based automated test frameworks and scripts across web, API, and integration layers.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent).
- Create and maintain reusable test assets, data sets, and documentation to ensure consistent test coverage.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive rapid remediation with robust regression tests.
- Develop strategy for long-term test automation, including metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and share best practices for Tosca usage and scripting.
- Ensure test environments mirror production settings and manage test data effectively.
- Stay current with Tosca features and QA tooling to continuously enhance automation capabilities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Tricentis Tosca or similar automated testing tools; strong Tosca knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Groovy; API testing experience.
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, qTest).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; willingness to mentor others.
- Relevant Tosca certifications are a plus.
