We’re seeking a proactive Tourism Marketing Manager to lead brand campaigns, develop strategic partnerships, and optimize digital channels to boost bookings and loyalty.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute integrated tourism marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, content, and partnerships to drive bookings and growth.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with hotels, DMCs, tour operators, influencers, and local businesses to expand reach.
- Lead content strategy and SEO initiatives to attract high-intent travelers and improve organic visibility.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and ops to align offers with market demand and seasonal opportunities.
- Oversee budget planning, tracking, and optimization across channels with clear performance metrics.
- Plan and coordinate fam trips, events, and influencer visits to showcase experiences and destinations.
- Develop loyalty programs and CRM-driven initiatives to increase retention and lifetime value.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of tourism, hospitality, or travel marketing experience, with a track record of growth.
- Proficiency in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email) and analytics tools (GA4, dashboards).
- Strong project management, budget stewardship, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation abilities; multilingual preferred (English + Spanish or Catalan).
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into action and experiments.
- Familiar with Barcelona’s tourism landscape and partners; willingness to travel as needed.
