Macquarie Group is seeking a proactive Trade Operations Analyst to join our North American Gas team within the Commodities and Global Markets group. This role provides essential, business-aligned operational support to ensure the integrity and efficiency of end-to-end trade processes across the gas portfolio.
In this role, you will work closely with front office traders, risk, settlements, and control functions to validate trades, manage confirmations, lifecycle events, and post-trade operations. You will help ensure accurate P&L, timely settlements, and robust controls, while identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Key responsibilities include trade lifecycle management, data validation, reconciliation, and maintaining up to date documentation. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to risk management, compliance, and operational excellence will be essential to succeed.

Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle for North American Gas products, including deal capture, confirmations, settlements, and post-trade events.
- Validate data integrity across trading systems, reconcile trades, and resolve discrepancies with counterparties and internal teams.
- Monitor risk indicators and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with front office, risk, settlements, and control functions to ensure timely and accurate trade processing.
- Produce and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reports; support issue tracking and root cause analysis.
- Support system enhancements and process improvements, including documentation and user training for stakeholders.
- Assist with audit and compliance requests; maintain control documentation and standard operating procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in trade operations, commodities trading, or gas markets.
- Strong analytical and data management skills; proficiency in MS Excel (advanced) and data visualization tools.
- Experience with trade capture systems, risk management platforms, ERP systems, and settlements processes.
- Knowledge of risk management, controls, and regulatory requirements within financial markets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; ability to work in Indonesia and willingness to adapt to global teams.
