Responsibility
- Develop and execute end-to-end transportation strategies to optimize on-time delivery, route efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Lead dispatch, fleet planning, and carrier management to ensure reliable service levels.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and driver training programs.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and customer service to align supply chain activities.
- Manage budget, forecasting, and vendor contracts to maximize ROI.
- Oversee change initiatives (routing optimizations, technology adoption, automation).
- Coach and develop a high-performance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or related field; MBA a plus.
- 7+ years of transportation or logistics operations experience; leadership role preferred.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and optimization tools; experience with TMS/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Oracle Transportation Management).
- Proven track record of cost-to-serve optimization and service level improvements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety compliance, and driver safety programs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong project management and vendor management capabilities.
